Most hot air balloon tours also include a desert safari, but you may want to clarify this with your tour operator.

Tips for flying in a hot air balloon

Book your tickets well in advance. Hot air balloon rides in Dubai are in high demand and tickets tend to sell out quickly, so be sure to book at least 2-3 weeks in advance to be on the safe side.

Sleep early the night before. Most hot air balloon rides start between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. in the morning. You certainly don't want your experience to be disrupted by a lack of sleep. Be sure to be fresh in the morning so you can fully enjoy your visit.

Bring a camera! You are going to see some of the best views and scenery from the hot air balloon and you will definitely want some photos shown later.

Bring warm clothes. The desert gets very cold in the morning and you can definitely use the heat. Also, at higher altitudes, temperatures drop, so make sure you are well covered and protected.
