January / February

Emirates World Series, The Dubai World Cup - With the possibility of a six million US dollars prize it is the richest horse race. It attracts the top jockeys, trainers, and horses from around the world, all of the action is held at the top of the line Nad Al Sheba Racecourse.

Dubai Desert Rock - An incredible two-day music festival that has included artists such like Iron Maiden, The Prodigy, The Darkness and Megadeth.

Dubai Art Fair - Attracting the best artists from around the world who exhibit their work at the Madinet Jumeirah.

April / May

The Bride Show The Bride Show is held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, the wedding-themed event draws thousands of vendors from across the UAE.

Festival of Taste - If you are a foodie This is an event you should not miss. It is held in The Madinat Jumeirah, the festival lasts for a full week, with world-class chefs creating specialties for various social gatherings while giving tips on how to cook and present.

June / July / August

Dubai Summer Surprises - Created to encourage visitors to visit Dubai during the summer. The 10 weeks of these 10 weeks of DSS (Dubai Summer Surprises) are divided into various themes like food, arts and adventure, as well as nature. A lot of hotels in Dubai offer special deals for shopping to draw more visitors to Dubai.

September /October

November / December

National Day Festival - Dubai's National Day Festival is celebrated each year to mark Dubai's freedom of Great Britain. Dubai hosts a variety of special events open to the people to enjoy throughout the day.

Dubai Rugby Sevens - Every year, the Dubai Exiles Rugby Club plays the host for the opening stage of the IRB Sevens Series. The three-day event will see 16 International rugby teams battle to win the series trophy. Events and shows for all ages enhance the excitement of this event.

Dubai International Film Festival - Focused on independent and art-house film, this festival offers them the opportunity to showcase the work they make to huge crowds and special guest.
