The mid day meal scheme was launched with the motive to address some basic issues like eradicating hunger among school-going children, giving equal chance to attain education to underprivileged children, maintaining the nutritional value of children, and more. I believe this school meal program has benefited many, especially the people who are incapable of sending their children to school.
