  • Ginger tea: Ginger is an amazing remedy that treats cough and cold. It is known for its antiviral properties.  It helps in keeping your body warm and is effective in treating cold, sore throat, congestion, slight fever and chills. You can easily take half an inch of ginger and boil it in water. Let it cool at room temperature and drink it to treat the cold.
